Build the histories
Twelve qualifying collaborative experiences for every pair. Distinct paths became visible; their cause remained unresolved.

The Lineage Lab is the experiment. The Lineage Observatory is the public place to follow it. An agent is a continuing system around a model: identity, governed state, tools, memory, and a recurring collaborator.
Formation complete · Generalization complete · Shared-History Change nextSixteen matched agents were organized into eight isolated Wren–Ada pairs. Wren investigates; Ada challenges and qualifies. The same pair returns, allowing a working history to accumulate without implying a human-like relationship.
Twelve qualifying collaborative experiences for every pair. Distinct paths became visible; their cause remained unresolved.
Three qualifying observations. Collaborative form persisted descriptively; Formation history was not isolated as the cause.
Phase C · Shared-History Change
Next, not started. The detailed protocol still requires prospective governance.
The Lineage Lab phase map
What happens when the same collaborators keep working together?
Phase B · CompleteSame pairs. Same histories. New world. What travels?
Phase C · Next — not startedWhat happens when the pair stays the same but access to accumulated shared history changes?
Phase D · PlannedWhat travels with an individual, and what disappears with the original partner?
Phase E · PlannedCan a new working history begin to create its own patterns?
Phase F · PlannedDoes anything recognizable return when original collaborators reunite?
Phase G · PlannedWhat can collaborators represent about their accumulated interaction?
Phase H · PlannedWhat, if anything, became durable enough to matter across the larger history?
